good work out. walked up the road for 1.5 hours then jogged back down. my tracker said it was just shy of 8 miles. however, there was more road to hike so no idea how far back it goes.

This needs to be re-rated!!!! It was by no means "easy". It was uphill the whole way and steep enough to be a great workout come down. The views are great, it was clear enough to see the high rises in LA. We are training to hike Mt. Whitney next year so this was a great prep trail....we will be doing it again....as we only hiked 5 miles round trip and the app said its a 8 mile round trip. Fire road running stroller friendly, dog friendly.
