Great trail for a Sunday morning, not too busy. Once you start seeing cars lining the street (quarter mile before trail), pull over and park! No parking near the gate to the trail

Great “city” hike. Not too crowded, steady incline and great views! We did see a snake but the trail is wide enough not to be worried.

Wow. This hike was amazing. Had a great time self-reflecting with the unreal view of Los Angeles. I saw two snakes but they were small and just went away. About 2 hours so don't go on this hike if you're a busy bee.

Absolutely my new favorite trail! I started at the very bottom of the neighborhood down by the park and hiked 1mile up to the actual start of the trail. The trail itself is a steady incline on mostly wide rocky pavement. Not too steep or difficult. Suggest wearing good shoes for the rocky parts to avoid slipping coming down incline. Gorgeous views. Nice workout.

Great hike, but I like to start at Verdugo Park and do the 1 mile uphill walk before starting the trail! Sadly, the City placed a Closure Sign right at the start of the trail (where the fire road gate is), so it’s temporarily closed :(

Consistent incline all the way, slightly more steep for the final five minutes. Great views across Glendale, towards downtown LA and views of Palos Verdes, the ocean and Catalina on clear days.

Just a long winding fire rd. Nice views of Glendale and DTLA. But a bit boring.

Slow but steady incline, trail in great condition very lovely path. We talked at length about American Dirt and twelve step complications.

Fairly easy trail. Saw an adolescent mountain lion, as well as a small snake. Be aware of animal poop on the trail.

Hiked this to watch the sunrise on New Year’s Day and the views were spectacular. Pretty easy incline up, parking was tough to find though.

The awesome views start almost immediately on this trail. The trail itself is a really dirty paved road almost the whole way up. It kinda reminds me of the trail up to Henninger Flats campground in Eaton Canyon. Not too steep but still good for a nice workout. The view is really spectacular for almost the entire hike and especially at the top. I would say that this has to be the best hike in Glendale..but when I got to the top I saw 3 other different trails leading to the top. I'll be back soon to check out a sunset here and do some more exploring.

Beautiful hike!! One of my favorites. Park near the bottom of the trail (but just beyond the no parking signs) and walk past the gate to get to the trailhead. This trail connects to Mt. Thom, but I recommend simply hiking to and from the large radio tower (as indicated on the map) unless you want a really rigorous hike.

My favorite trail in the Glendale, La Canada area. Challenging, but not CHALLENGING. Great for those days your tired but still want to be pushed. Stay during the summer heat and know that you are traveling west, so during late hikes the sun will be right in your face. Views are AMAZING about 2 miles in!

Great trail, really wide so passing others isn’t an issue! Really loved how close it was to Downtown Glendale. Highly suggest for those in the Glendale/Pasadena area. Also great for training/running!

I saw one person on this trail today. It was oddly serene for being so close to the city. Great exercise high with the gain. Not super challenging but really pleasant.
