For years, this was my go-to trail for a good quick workout. It’s still great, but so many people have gone off the trail that the hill is pretty scarred. Especially near the top, where folks trying to avoid the steep, dry, slippery terrain have moved to the sides, killed plantlife and created more steep, dry, slippery terrain. This is a difficult trail with a sharp elevation gain near the top. Please don’t hike it if you can’t hack it.
