Easy trail to follow, I wouldn't call it difficult. The climb up the rocks to the peak of the mountain was a little steep but short and had the best views. It was very cloudy when I went so I only saw a glimpse of the city. On the way back I took fern creek trail to railroad grade fire road which joined back with the original trail at the inn. It had some steep steps going down, went through a creek and was more in the woods which was a nice change of scenery. The directions take you to a small pullout on the side of the road with the trail entrance on the right. There is some parking below for the campground if the lot is full.

Amazing. Would do again.
