Pretty awesome views. Some stretches are exhausting cos of elevation gain, otherwise a pretty fun hike.
Just gorgeous the whole way! Steep on way down so balance is tough
Greats hike with amazing views at the peak! There are a lot of bikers on the trail so be careful!
Pro: Amazing panoramic view at the peak. Con: If you are taking the Easy grade trail up to the peak, the later half of the way up is a bike road.
Went to the peak for sunrise on a Saturday morning. Gate opens at ~6:50/7am. We drove up and stopped before the peak because there was fog / cloud cover higher up, and we weren't sure if we'd see over it. From where we parked, the sunrise was absolutely stunning - water, dramatic clouds, city views, gorgeousness. After sunrise, we continued further up to the hike itself. The view is really awesome, but know that it's very crowded. Quite a few people people up there, even at 8am. The crowds only get more congested the later in the day you go. The hike itself is straightforward and not much special - wood slats and stair stones make it an easy hike.
Narrow/crowded trail in some spots but good workout and beautiful views
Lovely hike! Steep at start but much forgiving terrain later. Good views from the top and lots of shade.
