Mt. Rubidoux trail is more of a paved road, but makes a great place for a quick run, a beautiful hike with friends and family, or for taking your dog for a walk. Though it is not a long trail, the amazing views of Riverside make this paved trail a popular place. There is an American Flag and a Cross at the top. Bring sunscreen or a hat. Parking at the trailhead can be tricky to find, and most hikers use nearby parking areas. The trail has some grade but it is great for strollers and wheelchairs.

Great trail, heavily trafficked, but everyone is so nice. People bring their four legged friends and even small children. The view of riverside, CA is wonderful on a clear day.

Blacktop ground made it so easy to do with my two kids(5&2) lots of other people walking the trail. It’s a little steep especially walking up the street to get to the trail, lots of rest areas/benches along the way. overall way worth it!

Inclination is medium and short. Few off trails that are rocky with high inclination. Not too safe for small kids unless you are willing to carry them for a short period. Note: Beginners stay in the middle of the mountain when climbing. Can be slippery and accidents do happen. Dog friendly, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. Hiking is best early AM-NOON!

overall a great afternoon family activity.

Nice trail! Black top with lots of scenery. Definitely worth doing and would make a nice run for someone who's in decent shape.

Fully paved. Dog friendly (keep ‘em on a leash out of courtesy for others). Some dog owners need to learn clean up after their dog droppings. Clean. Fun sights. Overall I recommend it!

Good “trail” for the kids. It’s all paved so it’s great for strollers. Due to recent rains there were a couple of muddy sections but not too bad. Watch where you step! Lots of dog poop on the trail. We parked at the near by Ryan Bonaminio Park, seems to be the best bet to avoid parking on the streets or accidentally parking in no parking areas as there are many of those around the base of the mountain. At the fork it seems to be that the left side is shorter but steeper and the right is longer but a bit easier of a climb. There are a few scattered benches along the way to sit and rest or enjoy the scenery.

super easy and some cool stuff to see up there, would hardly call it a trail, more like a walking path. did it twice, 2nd time it was like going to a swap meet. Will not repeat

Great trail! Paved. Good for dogs. No shade, so make sure you go when it's cooler. Great views all the way up. Parking can be tricky. We parked at the sports field at the bottom of the hill.
