Mount Helix is a 3.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near La Mesa, California and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and birding and is accessible year-round.
I park at the bottom across from the fire station. It's a moderately steep trek to the top on an asphalt road that is open to cars. Views are 360° on the way up and at the top. Views are beautiful any time of day but especially at sunset.
Absolutely no parking and too many homes
I lived in this neighborhood so it was my morning/evening running path. Not a trail. Spectacular 360 views and a stone auditorium great for running stairs or doing cross fit exercises. Almost always lots of car traffic.
This trail is a paved road with lots of beautiful homes, perfect for a runner. Once you're up at the top you have some stairs you can enjoy.
Awesome and easy paved trail with a great view
Well if you guys looked around you woulda seen a big mountain with a cross on it and thought hmm. I bet that's the one they're talking about
