Beautiful 360 degree views of San Diego, and a few ways to wander around. The theater has plenty of steps if you want to do a few flights of stairs. There is a flat trail around the north side which connects to the rod at both ends. Not much parking. A few flat rocks on the west side that are good for a picnic or a rest to view out toward the San Diego bay.

Very easy and short hike if you go once around. It's mainly for the 360 views of San Diego. Go early for the sunrise and for the solitude.

Cool place to spend a few minutes watching sunset. As with other reviews, note it is not a hike. Very tight space with a little very short trail circling around stone amphitheater. Only space for about 15 cars along road and tiny parking lot. Took my Doberman and he enjoy sniffing around a little, oh and brought my boyfriend too and took cool sunset pics. The handful of people there very nice.

Beautiful locale, would be amazing if the County revived it for theatre and live performances!

it is a narrow road. Not a trail, it should not be on this app.

We always start from the bottom where the fire station is at. It's ok. I wouldn't really consider this a Hike. More like a walk up to your friends house who lives up the hill. No biggie. I don't know why it's considered as moderate here but oh well. Should be easy. But the top part is really nice. Some stairs we use to run up and down as a work out.

The little side trail on top, provides a great view over El Cajon. There is also a drinking fountain toward the front of the amphitheater.

I park at the bottom across from the fire station. It's a moderately steep trek to the top on an asphalt road that is open to cars. Views are 360° on the way up and at the top. Views are beautiful any time of day but especially at sunset.

Absolutely no parking and too many homes

I lived in this neighborhood so it was my morning/evening running path. Not a trail. Spectacular 360 views and a stone auditorium great for running stairs or doing cross fit exercises. Almost always lots of car traffic.

This trail is a paved road with lots of beautiful homes, perfect for a runner. Once you're up at the top you have some stairs you can enjoy.
