We always start from the bottom where the fire station is at. It's ok. I wouldn't really consider this a Hike. More like a walk up to your friends house who lives up the hill. No biggie. I don't know why it's considered as moderate here but oh well. Should be easy.
But the top part is really nice. Some stairs we use to run up and down as a work out.

The little side trail on top, provides a great view over El Cajon. There is also a drinking fountain toward the front of the amphitheater.

I park at the bottom across from the fire station. It's a moderately steep trek to the top on an asphalt road that is open to cars. Views are 360° on the way up and at the top. Views are beautiful any time of day but especially at sunset.

I lived in this neighborhood so it was my morning/evening running path. Not a trail. Spectacular 360 views and a stone auditorium great for running stairs or doing cross fit exercises. Almost always lots of car traffic.

This trail is a paved road with lots of beautiful homes, perfect for a runner. Once you're up at the top you have some stairs you can enjoy.
