Great little spot to catch a peaceful evening sunset or early sunrise over “downtown” Fort Irwin. The lava rocks are neat and the 360-degree views make it worth the trip any time of day.

Great trail, good views and ridge run at the top. Climb was moderate to difficult to maintain a running pace.
