From the parking lot off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard you will start the hike by following Devils Gulch Road for about a quarter mile. Then turn right and took Gravesite Road. Where Gravesite Road joined Barnabe Road, turn left and follow it all the way to the Fire Lookout. From here you essentially have unobstructed 360 degree views, and the views are spectacular. Later you can then continue on Barnabe Road, which takes you along a ridge and then, after almost a u-turn, down to Lagunitas Creek, which runs along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. After a couple of miles, just past the Madrone Campground, turn right and follow a trail that will take you back up to the intersection of Barnabe Road and Gravesite Road. From, head back down via Gravesite Road and Devils Gulch Road to your starting point.
