HikingGreat!

Nice trail with soft dirt, the trail is pretty wide. I started around 9 and head back around 11:30. Be aware about bikers and horse rider. Also there is a restroom when you walked about 30 mins. It is next to a fee parking lot; The lake water level is getting lower and lower so there is also a beach next to the trail( suppose to be water) that you a walk along as well.

Clean trail. Easy to stay out of poison oak. Ending is a letdown. It ends at a construction fence.

I went back to Sacramento to visit my girlfriend. Folsom Lake is a very nice place to hike.

Definitily fun. We started at 0630 and on the way back 'traffic' definitely picked up. Most of it was shaded. Even though none of it is difficult, the terrain is very uneven, so I would recommend good shoes. Lots of poison oak. It was very pretty and a nice family walk. Love i said, it gets busy, so go early. Also would not call this moderate very manageable for small children.

Lots of poison oak, but if you’re mindful of where you tread in, you can have a blast. Also, watch your step because there are a number of sharp rocks that can easily wreck your ankles.

More easy than moderate. Beautiful hike along Folsom lake. You can walk through the “woods” area or along the beach if you don’t mind it being very rocky

Went for a trail run. It was very mellow and smooth. Great place to trail run just tons of bugs not much vert.

I would say easy over moderate, nice lake side trek. Pretty dry & hot at the beginning, leads into more shaded areas. I liked it overall. (Bring $5 for parking drop box)

Great trail. I would rate it as easy but hugs the lake which we loved. Dog got to play on some of the beaches.

Moderately easy. Trail is single-lane in many sections, beware and share with mountain-bikers. Decent lake views.

The trail had some amount of mud and standing water on about 5-10% of it but it was during the rainy season. The trail weaves in and out of lake view. Daily wide single track and not to step of inclines but consistent up and down of low grade hills.

Trail is nice and green in the late winter. I would rate it a moderate to heavily trafficked trail.
