Found the trail head, that was a lot easier than many people had mentioned. The trail itself was difficult to follow as it isn't maintained. There are so many false trails it was difficult to know if you were on the right trail or leading to a dead end. The views were wonderful. But the frustration of all of the false trails lessened the experience. Also if you take the first left(which looks like the trail) then leads to a parking lot you'll notice that firearms are allowed in the area. So with the worry of being shot, and un-maintained trail I will not be recommending this trail

a little hard to find the trail head, it's by the boat ramp. loved that it wasn't crowded but didn't like the trash that was lying around. pretty hike nonetheless

Hike was easy and leisurely. Best to hike in the cool of the morning or in late Fall through early Spring. Lake level was easy down.
