Super nice! Same park as the bill cull loop. $6-$10 parking but honestly worth it.

Amazing trail. Be careful! first time there crossed paths with a beautiful California black bear.

We went early in the morning, just after 7, and there was plenty of open parking at the top lot. It is beautiful right now. Everything is green and blooming. There were quite a lot of people, but we just let people pass us, and carried on. Everyone we saw was friendly, though a couple people had dogs that weren't (on leash, thankfully!). Hardly any litter. I'd definitely go again.

This trail was super packed on a Saturday. Easy trail and very dog and kid friendly. LOTS of poison oak along the trail.

I did this trail this weekend. It is a beautiful canyon, and the trail is a gentle climb all the way through. It is very popular, so don't expect peace and solitude. You can park on the street and walk 0.75 miles to the trail start, avoiding the $10 parking fee.

This was a pretty good hike. The trail was clean and very simple to follow. I really enjoyed the peacefulness of the stream and the beautiful waterfall. Probably won’t go alone again due to warnings of bear habitat and other animals (first time hiking in that type of environment). Loved that I was able to get amazing pictures. I also appreciated the clean restroom and the nice park ranger woman who helped me process my parking fee as well. I will definitely be returning.

I started with the 2-mile out and back Monrovia Falls Trail, which was billed as a bunny slope but had a nice little climb all it’s own, then doubled back and tackled the Ben Overturff Trail. This is a hard one to review. After climbing about a mile up a paved road and carrying on past Camp Trask, you get to the trailhead and the start/finish to your 4.5 mile loop. The split going LEFT is one of my favorite trails in SoCal. Well-built, maintained, challenging but not overgrown. And the views behind you while you climb are spectacular on a clear day. The hill rises fast and I was gassed out pretty good by the time I got up to the old Deer Lodge. The trail coming back down, which closes the loop and brings you back to the right split, is an old truck/fire road. It’s about as boring a path as you’ve ever been on. Still, the climb on the other side of the ridge is worth the price of admission and more.

Nice little hike. It’s rated moderate, but I think it’s more on the easy side. The parking fee is going up from $6 to $10 starting Feb. 1, 2020. The bathrooms at the trailhead were clean, so that’s a plus for me.

Pretty easy trail, but very rocky. Short, very quiet trail, although we did go on a Monday. Went with my friends two year old and he did just fine

Beautiful shaded hike. Dog friendly as well. They provide poop bags at the trail head yet people still cant pick up after their own pet. Other than that this hike is a nice one!

nice shade trail all the way to the waterfall. parking available at the beginning of the trail and they charge but you can park one mile before for free on the street. 3 mile up and down together

Nice, easy hike. Good for a quick hike with beautiful scenery.

Really awesome trail. Nice and shaded with lots of little cool areas. You have to cross the creek a couple times which I really enjoyed. Beautiful lighting and plant life. Perfect for dogs! Knocked it down a star only because it had quite a bit of people on the trail and crowded around the waterfall, including lots of screaming kids, so it wasn't the most peaceful, but still worth it!

we did this hike on an overcast day just after Christmas and there was a lot of people and there was some water so the waterfalls were okay it's a nice easy hike for beginners

The waterfall was underwhelming but that’s not the fault of the trail. It’s been a dry season. Costs $6 to park on the weekends. Most folks park on Canyon and walk the mile to the start of the hike to save money. It’s probably worth it. Will for sure come back. Beautiful views.
