Mono Lake Trail [CLOSED] is a 2.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Lee Vining, California that features a lake and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and off road driving and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Confirmed Trail is Closed and locked.

The directions lead to private property, but if you head east for about 3 miles from the directions you can find a 4x4 trail that travels around mono lake. That was worth it.

Not much of a hike but it was an interesting walk. the rocks where salt and cool to see.

This lake is pretty gross. We want to check out the tufas but decided to go back before getting to them. Very muddy and smelly. Was very disappointed
