Nice quiet hike. From Interstate 10, head north on Hwy 62. Turn left onto Mission Creek Rd. The dirt road is about 2.5 miles to a gate. Park there and hike the old road to the shone house. Gradual elevation climb out, but it's hardly noticeable. Tons of birds. There's a small stream, and plenty of picnic table to sit back and enjoy this beautiful place.
