Nice, quick, close hike. I usually do this one by myself with my dog. :)
Nice place for dogs and group picnics/barbecues. Great views of the bay, San Raphael bridge, Bay Bridge, Oakland, and San Francisco. Parts of the park were closed for improvements. Not many trails.. Just a path around the lagoon and near the shoreline.
Instead of hiking up the hills, I did a scenic shoreline loop with a bike ride. Excellent views next to the water and on the fishing pier.
It's a good park for a picnic or to let kids run around but for a hike or walk there isn't really anything worth going for. Dogs must be on leash so we just left and found another place to go hiking.
Great local hike with wonderful views. The dogs loved it and its not too crowded.
Great hike! I followed the suggested route in here and finished it in an hour. Great mix of uphill, down, sunny, shade, and great 360 views of Point Richmond and Richmond.
