washboarding much worse than last year. The portion of Godwin where it turns north from the power lines to is intersection with Meccacopia is the best part, with smoother trail between towering, close vertical walls. Meccacopia trail itself needs a good rain, not likely this year, to smooth the damage caused by high speed atv's and utv's. fire that reason, at the intersection with Meccacopia, I'll turn right next time back to the canal.

2017 Yukon on 33’s did just fine. Would recommend some experience before doing this trail because tire placement made all the difference in a few areas. Beginning and end had great views and the middle was an awesome sand wash. VERY bumpy from start to finish.

Beginning of the trail was fun. So short Rocky climbs and big dips. Then many miles of washboard that rattled our brains out. Around mile 10 there was many other trails to go and explore. Watch out for sxs's ripping down the trails. Lifted FJ on 33s has no issues. Probably a good idea to have some good clearance and 4x4 but overall not hard at all. A good beginner trail.

I’m Mingwei’s Outback friend, very disappointed for not able to finish this trail, will go back with a skidplate and a 2-inch lift kit maybe in winter.

A fun off-road trail but my friend’s Subaru outback could not make it so we had to go back. Not hard for my stock 4Runner though. Make sure to go with a capable vehicle because if you get stuck in Summer you may be exposed to extreme heat and there is no cell phone signal.

We stumbled on this gem by accident. I wanted off I-10 and saw this trail heading off and thought we might find some nice views. 3 hours later we came out by Salton Sea. You definitely need 4 wheel drive and there is a narrow space our Chevy 1500 made it thru with inches clearance on either side (see posted photo). This was a bumpy but really fun drive! Didn’t see any other traffic entire route. In theory it’s closed June-August, but there weren’t any signs or gates on the I-10 entrance side of it.

Pretty interesting trail with some very nice views of the Salton Sea and lots of spurs to take and explore the area. It's a very simple trail, I think it is more a green trail than the blue moderate that it says however it does get a little narrow in some places. It's mostly a bunch of ups and downs along with bumps and moguls. Some cool camping places in the canyons too where you can stay the night while hiking during the day or playing with the off road toys. Check out my video for a full trail video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xfpow5-UVls&t=496s
