Super muddy right now. But it’s beautiful along the Wildcat Creek! Just bring an extra pair of shoes to change into for the ride home!

Pretty trail with a porting next to a stream, Curran section is shaded but Meadow trail section is exposed. Better to walk this counter clockwise to be in the shade uphill. The trail is well used and worn with a fair number of walkers, runners, dogs and bicyclists. Everyone was courteous and friendly. The trail is hard packed dirt with ruts, roots and rocks as well as plenty of burrs for doggy paws.

Beautiful hike on a well groomed trail. Well labeled signs made it easy to stay on track, and there are multiple options for parking depending what point you start at, such as Inspiration Point or Lone Oak. Restrooms available too.

We started at the Tilden Little Farm parking lot, hiked up to the Memory Trail, across the Canon Drive and continued to the Selby Trail, Wildcat Gorge Trail, the Curran Trail and then the Meadows Canyon Trail back to the parking lot. Total distance was 6 miles with elevation gain of 823 ft. It was a pleasant hike.

This hike takes you from Inspiration Point to lake Anza and back. There was a good bit of traffic on a Saturday morning with some runners and dog walkers. Most of the dogs I came across were off-leash, but almost all of them were well behaved.

Wildcat Gorge Trail is very scenic. There are a few small waterfalls and the trees are lush. The other trails are so-so.
