Beautiful hike from the sweeping ocean views to the surrounding mountains. Well marked and maintained trail.

This trail is moderate and definitely a workout. We left out saddle rock but did the others and took our time climbing . It is a beautiful hike and worth doing again.

This was closer to a moderate hike, not easy as listed here. Numerous switchbacks gets you up about 800 ft resulting in beautiful views over homes all the way to the ocean. Our hike was done in about 80 degrees with a lot of sweating. Bring a bunch of water.

I hiked a portion of this trail as part of a 3.7 mile loop on McMenemy Trail, San Ysidro Canyon Trail, Girard Trail, and Edison Catway Fire Road. It's a well-maintained trail, and there were several good vantage points (and a bench!) near the highest parts of the loop. Haven't tried this, but the trail would probably be great around sunset.
