Snow has the road to Falls rather challenging to say the least. Lots of deep snow ... no clearance. hard ... need a 4x4 and good tires!

Beautiful and easy hike! The Middle Falls were definitely the show stopper. Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy day with amazing views.

Easy walk/hike with amazing views. Suitable to bring children, and or older relatives visiting. Clean restrooms on several locations along the trail. The trails are wide, and partly paved. It's sometimes crowded, especially during summer. I've done the hike many times. The waterfalls are magical. Not a very challenging hike.

The rock, seeing all three falls and the pretty McCloud river makes this a wonderful hike - enjoyed the beauty.

Middle Falls makes it worth the other shortcomings. Easy to find - parked in lower falls area. Nice falls but nothing to get excited. The hike has 2 downsides - first 1/2 miles is on asphalt and for well over half the hike you are working NEAR the river but cant see it so pretty boring. When you get to the Middle Falls really amazing. You then can go up to the rim and walk down to the upper falls which is ok. Walk back on a fairly boring hike ......but Middle falls is really special

I recommend starting at Lower Falls and then hiking up to Upper Falls (and then back to return to your car).
The hike from Lower to Middle Falls is easy, mostly flat, and often paved. It runs along the river and through a nice campground. There's decent fishing at Lower Falls.
Middle Falls is the most scenic of the three and we'll worth the trek from either direction.
The hike from Middle Falls to Upper Falls is nearly straight uphill with switchbacks and stairs in one spot. It's very doable and scenic.
There are picnic tables and overlook points at Upper Falls. You could park at Upper Falls and hike down.

Nice easy hike...just one hill of switchbacks at middle falls. My favorite is the upper falls, wow. Beautiful pool with great rocks to sit on...and jump off of. Freezing water of course, but worth a quick dip!!

Nice easy hike from lower to middle falls. There's no entrance fee for the day use, but come early as the parking lot fills up. You can bring lunch to eat at the picnic tables & bring your swim suit for the swimming hole.

Great, easy, well maintained trail with THREE gorgeous waterfalls. What a treat. Had two whiners in tow and they barely made a peep based on the beauty of following a river the whole time. Went in mid June and the river and falls were roaring. Another way to go is drive up to upper falls and hike down. Lower falls was the least climatic of the three and is the busiest, people wise, based on the campground right there.

Walked through some campgrounds for part of it which wasn't appealing. the bottom falls is a good swim spot, middle falls is the biggest, was very disappointed in the top falls though. Mostly an easy walk with a lot of nature once you get out of the campground area.

A beautiful hike. We live in Dunsmuir and this is a favorite to bring our friends and family. Planning to go fly fishing next week and will bring a picnic lunch as we often do. We love the Siskiyou area and all the wonderful outdoor activities available.

This was a beautiful and easy hike. you can easily do all three waterfalls in one day. The water is really cold but definitely worth it. The middle falls were my favorite because of access and # of people. This is a popular area which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. A definite must see. The middle fall does take some maneuvering to get to and from the middle falls to the upper falls does require stairs. Nice place to spend a hot summer day!!

Fun cliff jumping spots all around McCloud falls 20' to 80'

Saturday, June 06, 2015

Camped at Fowlers camp ground and hike to all 3 upper, middle and lower falls. Did some fishing down the rivers on the way there as well.

Middle Falls- you can swim in and jump a 46ft cliff into the ice cold water.

Lower Falls- easier to jump in from a 14ft fall, but hard to climb back up the slippery rocks.

This is a must see!
