Went right after rains. The grading was horrible and rocked the bolts off my Rav. Overall this trail offers more than just the off-roading itself. Lots of cool camping spots seems quite. Dirt biking and even some hiking was found. Very interesting area to explore.

Pretty cool spot. The main road is gravel but there are a couple off shoot trails that are pretty fun. Nice way to spend the morning

I enjoyed this trail better than expected due to it only having three stars at the time. There are a couple scenic overlooks marked on the trail where you can turn off and take in the view. There were a few camping areas that were completely empty on a December Saturday. I only saw one other auto for the entire 14 miles. Unless you have a legitimate 4-wheel drive off-roading vehicle, don’t attempt to continue for the last mile, once the gravel ends. Note: this trail dead ends and you have to turn around and head back the way you came so make sure you plan for that fact.

The whole place looks like a war zone. Wind turbines are being erected along the entire length of the road.

The area here is really cool. Depending on how far down the road you to there are hills with boulders or smaller rolling hills moatly covered in brush. We hiked the areas during the day and camped overnight. Unfortunately in the night my wife wasn't handling the winter cold well so I packed up the camp and we left before dawn. The camping is on a first come first served basis and is $6 a night. The toilets there are clean and well maintained. Will definitely be there again now that the weather is warmer.
