McArthur Creek Loop Trail is a 13.4 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Orick, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, bird watching, and horses and is best used from April until October. Horses are also able to use this trail.

Hiking

Beautiful hike and very little presence. We only saw 1 other person that wasn’t on a horse while on the trail. Super easy to access/park and bundles of redwoods to keep your mind blown.

16 mile loop if you start at Orick Rodeo Grounds. Beautiful trail work just enough technical aspects to make it interesting. It was a pleasant surprise to run across a water trough for the horses at just over the halfway mark.
