This is a great and quiet trail in Joshua Tree National Park. Several loops can be made from the Window, Maze, and North View Trails. This is the outer most loop consisting of the Window Trail and the North View Trail. These trails are not on the park map, but easy to follow here. The parking area is small. It is easy to cut across the desert and pick up the Window Trail. The North View Trail does as its name implies. It gives you good views of the valleys to the north of Joshua Tree.

Actually a nice trail even with rain and snow, mostly snow. Saw a total of five people all on the North View trail were I started. After the I headed down to the Window Loop and did that counterclockwise. Headed back to the trailhead using the Maze Loop trail. There’s a lot of nice areas for kicking back and enjoying the view.

Great trail with some amazing views! With started the hike with the Northview trail, which is the most strenuous part of the hike.
