A pleasant, easy walk that's mostly shaded. Look for beavers, ducks, and geese, Walks can be extended through quiet neighborhood to the Westside hiking trail off Kilkee Drive.

this is a very small Loop you could shout to people on it directly on the other side of the pond and they would hear you with ease. but I appreciate that it's there I saw some fishing and of course it is an excellent place to see certain species of waterfowl a couple years ago I saw a couple of Cormorants and white egrets, usually there is a local pair of ducks that stay year-round.

tons of geese and some ducks that was cool would be a nice walk if the lake were better tended. easy paved bike path, but the smell was a combination of trash and that summer warm river smell. and it's only the beginning of June. It can only get worse as the summer gets hotter.

Easy loop trail. Not the prettiest lake in Redding but it's a nice, quiet, clean trail.
