HikingGreat!

Nice, easy, paved trail. It was really windy and cold. Amazing views. It is a flat, short jaunt that ends at some binoculars.

HikingGreat!Rocky

Amazing views, first half is handicap accessible and paved. Beautiful shaded walk. Second half is rocky and a little more tricky with little ones but we did fine with a 2 yr old and 4 yr old. Amazing views totally worth it

Short and sweet. Definitely worth a stroll around this trail. First half is paved. The second half is not. The second half has a spot to climb rocks and more spectacular views. Don’t miss it

Great little loop around the summit. Was pleasantly surprised to find free spotting scopes on the north side of the loop. Great views. Definitely worth the time.

Easy trail that is partly paved with great views and wildflowers. We took our 7 month old, 4 year old and 6 year old and they had a blast. It’s short but so much to see it took us an hour to get around with our kids.

If you go clockwise the first half of the trail is paved and handicap accessible. It’s a fun warm-up trail near the summit that has good photo opportunities. Neat geological formations that give a great backdrop for a photo.

Took a much long longer route than expected. Weather was optimal and I can never get enough of Mt Diablo hiking. Lots of ups and downs and very challenging.

First to Review

Really easy. Great entree for kids, esp if you start there and then head down to explore Rock City. Be sure to get the brochure right on the trail - listing fun facts along the way.
