The trail’s nice. A lovely stroll. Muddy but fun. My child likes to walk on them. This was on March 31st. Snow are still there closer to the hills and that’s where the trail is muddy. For your child, wear comfy tall water proof boots. I’ll like to come back to this when there are no snow to try trail running around.
Definitely was really muddy and the trail is pretty icy due to high traffic and the freeze/thaw cycle we’ve been having with the warmer temps during the day.
Very muddy and Icy. Ok with yak tracks. Suggest going after fresh snow
Nice on 12/28, but slick at parts not too snowy. Parts loud by the road but nice and secluded mostly.
Trail was great for 7 month old pup being introduced to the snow. Has a great boardwalk in portions of the trail. Would come again!
Great trail for a leisurely (flat) hike, run, or snowshoe with easy access and great meadow views and some time through beautiful pines. There is a section of the trail that runs close to 267 where you get some vehicle noise, but for most of the loop it is the sound of the wind.
