I live nearby and use this trail to get to my fishing spot. There are snakes, loose gravel, and steep hills to beware. Also, coyotes at night. Its very hot in the afternoon and windy from the west. If you do the shoreline trail, there's a lot of boulders and you might get stranded by the high tide. Its rather easy for the fit person. Nice views and fresh air. You can see birds and the occasional eagle and fishing hawk.
