This trail is flat with some pedestrian along the way. The surface is good for road bike as well as for MTB. Currently, there are three detours; one big detour and two minor detours. If you don’t have someone to follow, one could get lost. We rode from Concord Ave parking lot towards the Bay. It is cooler and windier as you get closer to the Bay. Also, near the Bay, you will need to ride on the residential streets in couple of stretches. Not much shade for the most part of the trail, so when it is hot outside, this is not the trail to ride in the afternoon. We rode to the Big Break Regional Shoreline and the total mileage each way was 12 miles. Bathrooms at the park are closed currently due to COVID-19, so be prepared ahead of time. Overall this is a safe trail and good riding trail for all bikes.

Nice for an easy (but chilly) late November early morning ten-mile run. Beautiful water fowl north of Central Boulevard.

This trail was awesome!!! It’s very easy to follow, very wide, not too many people, perfect amount. There is shade, quite a bit in the first 3-4 miles and although not much shade the remainder of the way, you can still easily get to shade at all times if you wanted too. Lots of birds, turtles in the beautiful creek (which is next to you the entire time) and we even saw a beaver in the creek. Will do this one time and time again.

Love it, perfect with the little ones with plenty of little playgrounds or parks for rest breaks. Got a little lost towards the end and wish it was a loop. But it served its purpose and we had a good ride.

Love this trail. For the first 4 miles of the trail, it is well taken care of and has benches you can take a break on. The rest is a bit more rough but still a nice bike ride. I ride my road bike and well as my mountain bike on this trail. One issue for me is that I have to travel to it from my home in Antioch.

Fun path for walking, jogging and biking along Marsh Creek. Lots of wildlife, views of Diablo and the Sierras on a clear day.

Great running trail with pretty views of farmland, golf course, and parks. You can start all most anywhere on the trail that takes you all through Brentwood and continues all the way to Oakley Big Break Trail. Looks like you can run 13.3 miles or 26.6 round trip.
