A great spring time hike through a deep canyon in the Foothills. This hike offers an abundant and diverse plant life as you switchback through shady, woodland chaparral. Oaks, cottonwoods, redbuds and dogwoods are skirted with a variety of flowers in the spring like brodiaea, madia, lilies and Chinese houses. The trail ends at "Marble Falls" cascading over polished marble.

I would park in the lot across the campground and walk to through the campground, the trail is on the left, although there are a couple parking spots right at the trail start. Rocky trail, appx 4 miles up and ends at the beautiful fall.

Would definitely recommend this hike, completed it in around 3hours at the beginning of Jan, there were no need for any shoe spikes or poles. Mostly dirt path with a few steep bits but otherwise very solid underfoot and an easy to moderate hike. Would definitely recommend as the waterfalls were in full flow and looked beautiful.

Yeah definitely one of my faves - did the whole thing last year in Dec. and rate it moderate-to-easy. This year we just camped at Potwisha and explored other nearby trails. Did see two different sets of mama bear and her cubs! One was off the road heading out of campground, the other about 100 yds. from Marble trailhead, close to our camp site (not sure if they’re an issue at night as we left the same day but didn’t have any issues the night before and had food locked in bear bins). Bring your bear spray and get prayed up!

Wonderful experience I want to do it again soon

I completed this hike on Christmas Day. Though in the foothills of Sequoia, the trail still had tree coverage that made it really beautiful. A couple of downed trees toward the beginning but overall trail in good condition. The waterfall was awesome. I recommend this trail.

Did this trail in mid December. The trail is mostly incline to get to the waterfall and on the way back it’s downhill. There is a lot of rocks along the way so watch your step. At some points they were loose rock. The waterfall itself is beautiful. Definitely worth the hike.

This trail had amazing views, and the plants were really colourful and interesting. We hiked it in late November. This is in the foothills so no sequoias, but beautiful nonetheless. We didn’t allot enough time before sundown so we didn’t reach the falls, but would do again.

The view from the falls is amazing. Lots of gnats. It’s really warm for this time of year. Was sunny at the top. I wore long sleeve with tank top underneath. Will have to come again in the Spring.

Great hike. Would’ve loved to spend more time at the falls but the bugs were awful - surrounded by a swarm that would fly straight into your mouth if you stopped moving.

I thought this trail was overrated. First half very exposed, not much scenery throughout. Lots of bugs. Topokah Falls was much more scenic

Worth the trek up to the falls. Definitely need bug spray, snorted and swallowed a few. But overall great hike! Bring swimsuits if you'd like to take a dip.

Loved this hike, falls were beautiful even though they are slowing down. Definitely should have brought more bug protection, the gnats were ridiculous going up- coming down not so much for some reason.. some parts of the trail were a little overgrown but nothing crazy. I would recommend bringing a swim suit if your going during the hot months!

First timer. Got a little off the trail and ran out of daylight but what a great soul cleanse! Trail is a bit hard to follow and prepare for a little rock climbing.

Loved this hike. it ended up being 5.1 miles there and back. it was 100* in the valley and 77* on the trail. even though it was a 797 elevation loss and then gain, it was very easy. i would love to go back and camp.

Beautiful falls but lots of bugs! We started at 6am to avoid heat but still had tons of tiny gnats flying into our ears, mouth and nose. Bring a swimsuit there’s a nice swimming hole!

Phone read 7.29m in 1:58:25 with 1860ft of gain. Not much shade until the last mile. It was 90°+ with tons of bugs in the afternoon so that’s always fun. Falls are definitely worth the trip. In order to get to the water some minor scrambling has to be done.
