The trail info needs to be updated. No dogs are allowed at beach at Kinney Road entrance. Dogs allowed on leash at Stoneboro Road entrance. Although it was only 70 degrees today, the sand dune were very hot. So much so that our Border Collie has to be carried most of the way as it was burning his paws and our feet wearing flip flops. Beach was great and practically empty except for us, two fishermen and a jogger.

Easy trail, had 2 kids and a dog with me. All loved the beach at the end, with lots of driftwood to play with. you can see the lighthouse at Point Arena from here. Lovely lupines on the trail.
