Very difficult to get around flat rock w/o getting soaked. Make sure you pick a day w/ very low tide. Did this hike as part of an all day trek from Malaga Cove to Pt Vicente Fisherman access area.

Had a tough first half mile walking on rocks and the tide coming up but after we found the neighborhood trail we really got going. The views in all directions were amazing and just a gorgeous day!

The first half mile of our hike was ankle-twisting rock hopping, so we scrambled up the side of a cliff and had to climb a fence which landed us in a church parking lot. After hopping another fence we ended up walking the neighborhood street until we got to the Malaga cove path. I just couldnt see going all the way around on those loose rocks, it would have taken hours. The views are beautiful though, lots of spear fishermen and SUP boarders. Watching the long boarders in Malaga cove is almost magical. Gorgeous water!
