It was a great hike! We went around 10am and finished it in an hour. We walked it, no jogging or running. There’s definitely high and lows in elevation so we got a pretty good sweat! I’d saw it was an easy start and an easy end with elevation in the middle.

Chill walk around Griffith. Enough inclines and views to make you feel like you’re being active, but not hard.

Nice trail if you want low/no traffic. It’s right next to the freeway for half of it and you can hear it quite loud but the other half was nice and tranquil

Nice trail with good elevation. Easy to moderate. Not so crowded. 90% of people wore masks.

Needed to train on an easy trail for fartlek. This was perfect. 2 laps around is about 6 miles with small hills and nice flat terrain

Decent trail - pretty empty given that it's Griffith. Stays flat for half of it - but the other half has some interesting terrain.

a nice fire road trail with great views of glendale, burbank, the los angeles river + atwater. note: there are a few steep, gravelly portions so wear proper shoes with a tread.

I always hike this trail going counter clockwise because I love the initial incline. There is also a hidden trail at about .9 miles in that I take up to Beacon Hill. It’s a nice heart pumper. After that, I head towards 5 points then circle my way back to Lower Beacon/main trail. In all, I stretch this hike out to almost 4.5 miles. It sprinkled quite a bit today so perfect hiking weather in my opinion. Beautiful views of DTLA.

There's definitely a lot of people. Even on a friday mid-day. There's also a good incline that isn't mentioned. But overall a nice hike!

Nice trail. Easy for the most part but there are some very steep uphill and downhill stretches which I wasn’t expecting from the trail description . Climbing and descending steep elevations hurt my knees and I probably would not have taken this hike had I known about that. But having done it, it was harder than I thought, but a good walk.

Convenient little loop, slightly less than 5k. Trail is wide, even, and mostly flat with only a couple small hills, so it’s great for walking and running and perfect for families and dogs as well. Can get a bit crowded in the evenings, but if you come right before sunset it usually quiets down pretty quickly and the trail stays visible for a while after the sun goes down. I recommend doing the flat along the freeway first so you can finish off hillside without the loud freeway. Going clockwise at a leisurely walking pace (and stopping occasionally to take pics) takes about an hour.

Loved this mini venture. This is very easy. Recommend for those with pets and kids. I’m recovering from a sprained ankle and I crushed this in about 1.5 hr. Good luck out there!

Starts out in Crystal Springs Park then runs next to the 5 fwy on a dirt path for a bit until it gets you on to the Lower Beacon Trail. Shared the path with a couple of fearless coyotes for about a quarter mile. Probably best for trail running.

A nice loop version of lower beacon if you don’t mind the sounds of the freeway while on main trail.
