Beautiful trail! Really enjoyable. The first part of the trail (clockwise) leads through a forest along a creek. After that you go slowly uphill and get amazing views. Parts of the trail are a little overgrown. It was moderately trafficked, considering we went on a Sunday. Would definitely go clockwise as the app recommends. Otherwise you will have to go downhill for a really steep part.

This trail was such a great surprise! We did it clockwise - the first part is easy in beautiful trees next to a creek with lots of trees that are great for climbing! The second part has a steep-ish incline on rocks but that does not last for too long before you get to the view at the top, which is worth it! Lots of options on for making this hike longer as well! Definitely will do this again! Ps. Not overgrown at all, and we saw tons or lizards and even a deer less than 100 feet away from us! Also, you’ll be sharing the trail with bikers, so be prepared to move right a lot. The second half of the trail is not shaded so plan accordingly. We started the hike at 2:30pm and it was cool enough for us when we began the non-shaded part. We walked super slow and finished around 6:30pm.

First part of the trail is pretty, in the woods. Once you get to Nature Loop, it is really overgrown, and no shade. Highly recommend doing this one early

Trail is excellent. I did it clockwise. The first 1.5/2 miles offers lots of shade and is Easy. Also had a little stream running along side it, some Little Rock’s and boulders but nothing to strong on the ankles. Then you come to the bottom of the car wreck trail! This is a difficult incline. Pretty steep climb and soon burns the legs out but very rewarding once at the top as the views are great! Could see the sea at Laguna. All the way inland the the mountains with snow up by riverside. The last part of the trail is very open and has some bike traffic but plenty of room for both. Lots of wildlife on this trail. Turkey vultures, Hawks, Falcons, squirrels, rabbits, lizards.

Beautiful trail, mostly dirt. Lots of mountain bikers and traffic towards the top.

Nice trail with some shade on part of the trail. Like most trails in this area look out for bicycles.
