From where the trail starts on the map it takes awhile to get interesting. Your basically walking along a dirt path next to the river. It starts to open once you get to the archery range. I've walked across that big bridge connecting Pasadena and Eagle Rock many times and always wondered what park was below. This is it.

A very straightforward trail. Excellent for locals as it is our backyard. Beautiful and very Pasadena.

Nice walk through the woods but not challenging. Scenic for sure! Cold in the afternoon.

Nice and easy flat trail. Moderately trafficked, and seems to be a safe place to hike.

Easy and flat trail. For me, it was hard to find. It seems like there are a lot of entrances to this Lower Arroyo Seco trail but I went through the Lower Arroyo Seco entrance that is on S. Arroyo Blvd. and Norwood Dr. There is a parking lot with plenty of parking and you can pick up the trail from there. The archery range is right in the same lot too. Not sure if I completed the whole trail though, I think from where I started it wasn’t the whole thing. I wish there were more signs that had information. Otherwise trail is nice and there are lots of bridges. It doesn’t take long to complete and looks great for runners!

A hidden trail in Pasadena. I liked the different rock formations people have built and this path also led me to an archery club that I’m interested in trying one day! Not a lot of sigh seeing with this trail, but it’s a nice stroll as long as it’s not too hot!

this is an easy trail though not well marked if you extend the hike past the south or into Rosebowl area. if you are running into Rosebowl stay on the east side and run the Singletrack that runs along the fence of golf course. The trail stops in the dry Creek bed which you can cross in Summer months. You will see some sort of adventure camp climbing poles. head there to find the other side of trail and return or go up to Devil's Gate Dam

A nice easy walk/hike along a wash and under the historic Arroyo Seco Bridge.

Walk was pretty, lots of trees and the bridges are beautiful. There are parking spots on the end of the stable on the right. We walked all the way to the Rose Bowl, 4.7 miles.

Virtual Hike: https://youtu.be/L2FjhaqYPdo Having lived in the area for my whole life and playing golf at the golf course just south of the trailhead, I’d never explored this portion of the arroyo. The trail starts at the San Pasqual Stables and loops around at the colorado street bridge and 134 highway in Pasadena. The trail is fairly straight and level, but there are offshoots that allow hikers and trail runners to enjoy some more nature scenery. There are several bridges to pass under, constructed with a cool old style. As the trail loops around, the colorado street bridge is magnificent; it’s much bigger than the two smaller bridges down the trail. There is a little dam and refuge for ducks just beyond the bridge. As you travel back there is an archery range trail that can be taken, which adds a bit more of the natural vibe to the trail. Stay on the trail, and don’t get shot! The trail is fairly heavily trafficked but it didn’t seem too busy. Watch out for horse droppings. I definitely recommend this trail. It’s easy, easy to get to, and reasonably flat for beginners. Hope you enjoy! Playlist for the trail: https://sptfy.com/Kh8

Came here for the first time a few months ago and really enjoyed the walk under the bridges and was very simple. Pretty much no incline so it was perfect to do some running. Will continue to come back here!

Nice, easy walk through lower Arroyo Seco on a wide equestrian path (no bikes allowed). Nice views of the historic Colorado Street Bridge, and near the stables there are stairs leading up to San Pasqual Avenue if you want more cardio.

Perfect place to train for outdoor running with minimal incline.

While this trail is marked for Mountain Biking, there are signs all over saying otherwise. This is NOT a cycling-friendly trail! I was pretty bummed to discover this after driving out, but I found some other fun rides in the same area, so not a total loss. I'll just have to come back and hike it sometime.
