Highly enjoyable trail. Park at a grocery store and walk around a road and sidewalk for about a quarter-mile before you take a right to the trail. Open during the corona shut down. Water available for dogs. Easily customizable distance.

Heavy bikes on trail. Hikers have to move over for bikes to pass. Sort of annoying.

All trails useless, tried to layer it so I could see exit roafor return trail planning and scale is so extreme it made it look 10 miles away, constant pinching every trail to see enough map to at least plan my next step..every 300 ft, hell no! showed the trail was next to me as if I was picking the road vs the dirt trail.. This trail had no markers so it made it worse. Pro hiker reduced to 2 mile hike just for using only All Trails

Rode my bike here after completing the “Tracks Trail” in Brea. This is the BEST trail I’ve ever ridden. Light dirt trail. Definitely not for road bikes. I have a hybrid and it barely did the job. Had a blast!!

Awesome hike that is very easy hike that doesn’t take long. The trail has multiple different ways you can go to make your hike a little longer. Anyone can do this trail regardless of age or experience. Definitely going to be back

Thought this would be wilderness, but it’s right by a ton of houses. No real difficultly or views; one redeemable view if you go a little off trail to the top of the dam hill. Definitely for bikers, not hikers.

This trail was boring and seemed to drag on. There was too much going on around the trail i.e. Golfers, bikers, homeowners ect.. Lots of dog poop on the trail too. Most the foliage was either dead and scraggly or just overgrown weeds. Half the bikers were courteous, others were just rude as they zipped past without warning. Don't think I'd ever make it back here.

good trail if you want to be near places but still feel like your somewhat in the woods! only downside is it is very high traffic by bikers so you need to always pay attention! but very nice little trail I added a little to it as well. but very nice and not bad on the hills to but love how it connects to other trails also.

great little hike in town

Short and simple little urban hike. Most of the vegetation is non-native, which is always a bummer. Walking through mustard and arundo is never as satisfying as walking through native California plants. Could be a great spot for the city to do some restoration! The hike seems more popular as a biking trail, so be alert and be ready to yield. Dog-friendly, but only one trashcan (about halfway out), so please pick up after your pet and be prepared to carry the poop with you until you get back to the trashcan. The tunnel is current flooded from the rain: I was able to wade through with my waterproof hiking boots (still got a little wet) and there also a pipe you can walk on if you don't want to get too wet. We took our small terrier and he tried balancing on the pipe for a while before he just jumped in. I did notice that some people were able to go on some other path and avoid the tunnel, but I didn't see how so you might have to do some exploring if you don't want to get wet. Right after the tunnel, you're spat out on to the golf course. Go left to stay on the trail, otherwise you'll walk on to the golf course instead. The trail takes you along the edge of the golf course, which can be a bit frightening if the golfers who are out are not very good. :p There are nets, but watch your head! Otherwise, it's a pretty nice local walk, though I wouldn't come out of your way too much for it.

Good for a quick walk! Not too strenuous but not much traffic either.

decent views. easy to do with kids, even managed a stroller for most parts, however the tunnels are washed out due to all the recent rain

I really enjoy this trail. It’s not long at all, but it’s cool and very peaceful. I’ve never seen more than two others on the trail when I’m running it during the week. Definitely recommend!

No parking at the trailhead at Brea Blvd., but a large shopping center is only 1/4 mile to the north. The trail is surprisingly quiet being so close to many things.
