The portion of the loop to the west is closed. I did an out and back to the viewpoint for a total of 8 miles. beautiful scenery. fairly populated on a Thursday morning but easy to social distance most of the time.

What a lovely trail. Started at 7am and the whole place was shrouded in mist. My favorite parts were straying from the main path and taken the steep sections up the hills. I’d said I encountered about 40 people, half not wearing masks, so be prepared!

Great trail. The only problem is that the first half of the trail is really narrow, and this is a CROWDED trail. So not ideal for this pandemic time. To be fair, we did go on a weekend, but still one of the busiest hikes I’ve done in SoCal. Oh and beware of snakes as we did see one in the bushes!

Nice trail. Definitely would come back. Came at 12 pm on a Sunday and found parking right by the gate which was a nice surprise. The trail does gets narrow and it was busy that day but it was nice to see most people wearing their masks. Also, not sure if I was looking at the AllTrails map properly but it ended the trail in the middle of an incline? Overall nice hike with some good incline and a cool view of the ocean.

so far the best trail explored during covid-19, not super crowded but the road was kinda narrow, so mask is a must-have! The view was amazing, nice working out! Would definitely come back again

Nice place but very steep and narrow. I would consider this a moderate to hard hike but worth it.

A bit crowded for the first mile but then opens up. Nice views, super good workout if you do the 8 hills. Nice easy walk if you take the road.

Probably my favorite trail local to me. Hike can be a little narrow at times especially with a fair amount of people out but it reminds me of the “variable” option on treadmills and elliptical where sometimes it’s flat and sometimes incline. Pretty spot with view of ocean and palisades houses- we adventured up a little more and it became very step and felt like I had to be more careful on my ankles coming down from that are north of the view. Really great well rounded hike overall :)

Such an amazing hike! Wasn’t too hot cause of the ocean breeze. Loved the view. Parking wasn’t too hard to find.

Nice warmup in the beginning, hilly and spots of shade then opens up to a great open incline. Highly recommend

Kids friendly, Super easy and short hike. This trail is good if you’re a beginner or just want to get some workout in. I love the view of PCH along the beach at the viewpoint. It is so breathtaking. Make sure to go early in the morning so you can find parking spot.

okay hike, there are some dead end offshoots so just make sure to stay in the main trail. Gets hot very quickly, no shade after the first half of the hike so go early.

Really nice views of the ocean! Free parking along the street. Went on a Friday late afternoon and there wasn't that many people, maybe 70% of people wearing masks. Pls wear a mask!! Walked for about 20 minutes up the fire road after reaching the flat area, didn't make it to the end.

Nice trail, but wouldn’t recommend right now. Went on Sunday and started at 7:30am, but last stretch was way too crowded. Also the trail doesn’t really have a logical ending point, just turned around when we got tired.

Nice trail, but much too crowded, and way too many people going mask-less. Stressful.
