Last half mile was blocked off, and the otherwise impressive L.A. River was marred by trashh and tents from the stretch of homeless camps among the first third of the trail. Great closer view of the pedestrian bridge under construction at Atwater Village.

It’s a cute little park with a dirt path around it where people walk and jog.

This isn't a great running path. You are completely boxed in with the freeway on one side and a river on the other. Since it is a long straight path there are bicyclists racing down the path. I found the whole run kind of anxiety inducing.

This is a really easy bike path. It's paved well and can easily take a stroller. You can park on the streets by Oso Park. There are entrances all along the way. There are lots of people who clearly got off of work downtown, put on their sneakers, and headed out to get some exercise.
