Nice little hike that offers some views of the Hetch Hetchy area. There were still wildflowers in bloom when we visited mid-June and we saw several species of songbirds so, overall, a pleasant experience even though I wish we had more time and could hike further out and experience the area a bit more.

Extraordinary view at the top. First half of trail running along busy road; kinda buzzkill but area is so remote it is the only way and the view at the top is worth it.

Hiked in late May and the wildflowers are amazing. Interesting meadow in the saddle. Nice panoramic view at the top, including Hetch Hetchy Lake, O'Shaughnessy Dam, and Wapama Falls. Relatively easy walk, moderate uphill for the last half.
