Long Beach Shoreline Bike Path is a 7.3 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Long Beach, California that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
One of the beaches in Long Beach. Open all year to everybody. This is beach is famous for rollerbladers, skateboarders and beach cruisers.
Truly accessible with multiple entry/exits, Including switchbacks (from Ocean Blvd), from beach-level parking and from stairs. So, customizable, cool (but sunscreen necessary) and beautiful.
Nicely paved walking/jogging path. I run it almost every morning. It gets busy on the weekend, but everything gets busy on the weekend. To extend the path go down the peninsula to Bay Shore Walk and Ocean Front Walk.
facil muy seguro muy bueno para caminar o correr MA's si es De noche
Great boardwalk to walk or bike :)
Fun walk to just enjoy the beach. The water is a bit dirtier than most of the beaches in So Cal but it's still an enjoyable place walk, bike, or swim.
Pretty bike/walking path along the beach
The path is longer than 3 miles, depending on where you start. I've taken the path beginning at the peninsula area, all the way to downtown by the boat docks. It's a great view of the ocean and Queen Mary. Plenty of options of parking, including street, meter, and paid lots. A section of the beach is dog friendly.
One star marked off because there has been LOTS of construction going on. Some areas are fenced off and they are renovating the public restrooms. The sand area seems pretty clean, but the water is meh (brown). Also, a lot of people don't clean up after their pets.
lol did it a couple times from Alamitos ave all the way to 2nd in Naples island had no choice the bus stopped running. ahhaha
