Beautiful trail!! My only complaint is that it’s not long enough. But it is perfect for an hour walk. Wear appropriate footwear. Trail is muddy in places.

This is a little known gem even for locals. Never crowded, the trails are nice, shady and have some nice second growth redwoods.

Perfect little hike for me and my toddler. She walked about 1/4 and the rest I carried her. Hold hands with little ones as the trail has steep sides. Trail was wide enough to feel safe and to avoid poison oak. Shady and cool the entire loop. If you live in San Jose, this is one of the closest hikes with redwoods. Free parking/no entry fee. Parking lot is shared with an office building. Some traffic noise for part, but it gets quiet enough to hear the birds further along. Overall quite lovely.
