Parts of the trail was closed off due to regulating the cows, but there are many alternate paths that will lead you to the starting point. I had a great hike with the dogs and will definitely come again! Clockwise: MODERATE starts with a hill Counterclockwise: EASY

I felt great and got to enjoy some time with the few friends and family. Of course social distracting with 6 feet away.

This was NOT an easy trail. It was beautiful, devoid of trees and hilly but not easy! The first hill is one of the steepest hills I’ve ever climbed. Please try the rating to medium to hard.

As others have mentioned, there is no shade, so wear sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses. The outer loop is easy, but the trails through the middle can be quite a steep climb.

Lovely valley views, but several parts of the trail were overgrown, making them easy to miss.

Beautiful morning hike in September, no shade so probably better in spring/fall or early morning/evening. Dog loved it!
