Good trail with my teen. We walk up the inclines and run down the declines. It's quick, not a big commitment. Traffic noise from the 101 is noticably loud. Narrow and some good rocky, uneven footing which is what we look for :)

Nice trail...well marked. We hiked at a leisurely pace. Several bikes along the way. I would come back!

Ok trail. Close to town, so some transient camping. Felsman Loop or South Hills better options in my opinion for quicker type of hike.

Cute, lemon groves and some flowers, bunnies, & lizards. The only thing is we’d hoped for some beach views and to it hear passing traffic. If you’re wanting to do something close by and convenient, it’s a good option.

Great hike on a beautiful afternoon, trail is in good shape and weeds have been cut back. Park in small lot at end of Marsh Street in SLO. This is an easy hike which you can make as difficult as you want by going uphill at any time to top of Cerro San Luis. There was no wind and it was foggy so it was cool, so it was going to get hot there in afternoon when it cleared. This is a great hike to start out your day. Virtual Treadmill video of this hike can be seen on my YouTube Channel, copy and paste link below to watch it. Thanks. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFO02nxPdM4-CabegFIPlow?view_as=subscriber

Enjoyed this one! It wasn't the one we had originally planned on, but it had great views like others have said. The beginning is a little steep, but it levels off and is well-shaded through the last half going back down. A great, short hike.

It's a good, short trail with good views. Well marked. Narrow trail most of the way & it's shared with other hikers, dogs & mountain bikers.

Nice walking trail with great views of the downtown SLO area. Some elevation change but nothing too difficult. Stable paths, all in all a good afternoon walk.

My 12 year old son and I love this trail. It challenges but yet it’s still fun. We can load up in Atascadero and go ride this and be home all in about an hour and a half. Fun and quick. Make sure and turn your bell on, lots of hikers
