Lovely trail when it’s colder! In the warmer months the lack of shade is a little rough.

I just finished as hike with my dog. Fairly easy trail with a couple of steep hills. Finished the 5 miles in under 2 hours.

The place to hike in late winter and spring, because its beautiful and green, summers not so much, as it's exposed, dry and overgrown. Nonetheless, a good place to get miles in and enjoy the outdoors.

Unlike most hikes near populated areas, homes and buildings are out of view for most of the trail. The scenery is reminiscent of Central CA-yellow hills spotted with oak trees. Laskey Mesa comes into view about 3/4 in and its tall grass made me feel like I was in the plains. Definitely on the easier side of moderate. I hit the trail on a Sunday afternoon and it was not crowded.

Trail was great today. Easy terrain and it felt like there were two compelelty different feels to the hike between the Mesa and the valley. It was so green. Beautiful rolling green hills and some yellow and purple flowers.

Laskey Mesa is, as you might imagine, flat, but a great way to recover from a MTB climb to the top. The mesa offers a few peaks where you can get added elevation, and beautiful views of Las Virgenes Open Space. Look for "Movie Tree" atop Fife and Crummer Ranch roads where many movies and commercials were filmed. It survived the Woolsey Fire.

Incredible lush green hills with some wild flowers. The trail that connects off the main one to the lake was closed due to hazardous conditions. Plenty of other connecting trails to make a lovely hike!

First time out in this area and I’m sure this is the perfect time of the year to visit the area because the views are perfectly lush and green. We tracked about 5.3 miles total. There is a parking fee of $3 cash.

Green and beautiful. Saw three coyotes.

This is a gorgeous hike to do after a substantial rain. The green grass along the rolling hills is so vivid you won’t believe you’re in Southern California. Just a beautiful, Technicolor green. The hike is not difficult, but there are plenty of other trails to explore if you want to make it longer. This path would be great for trail running and mountain biking too.

Beautiful rolling hills that are very green, in the winter at least.

Very pretty trail. I started at 7:30 and there were quite a few people at the trailhead then; it was busy when I came back in. Very pretty views.

Gorgeous green rolling hills in the spring time. Very little shade so plan accordingly when it's hot.

Great mountain bike ride. Just be aware, if you make a left turn farther up on the trail, it takes you to Las Virgenes. Found this out the hard way and decided to ride back from Las Virgenes to Victory. Great ride though.

This is my usual go to for an easy two hour hike. Most of it is gentle incline, except the hill at the half way point. The whole path is well trafficked by bikes, horses, and people. Bikers, please remember to slow down when coming up on hikers, they have the right of way no matter how fast you want to go (yes, some bikers zip right by and I pulled an ankle once when surprised by one coming from behind).

Great hike if you're looking to put in a few easy miles. There are bits of incline here and there but they are pretty easy and short-lived. There is no shade whatsoever on this trail, so keep that in mind when the sun is strong. We had to step aside for a few people of bikes but they were very considerate. Also, I believe the waterfall tag is a mistake, definitely didn't see one and can't imagine where it could have been. Parking was easy and it wasn't too crowded.

Love this hike. Not sure where the waterfall is.
