Good views towards the beginning of the hike and the majority of it is covered. The end is kind of awkward, just a turn around in the middle of a path before you head back. No cool view at the end. Much better hikes in the area.

Horrible trail. Not even close to moderate. Flat and boring. Minimal incline. More horses than people, and horse crap everywhere. Boring. The waterfall pictured is not on the trail - it’s on a different connecting part. The crystal trail that is supposed to connect is overgrown and not usable. Would never go here again.

Beautiful Hike! The Loop was not possible, it was an out and back . From the trail head, along the Coastal Trail then up Lake Ranch Trail to Mud Lke and then back...the Crystal Lake Trail was closed, and looked like it had been closed for a while.

Incredible views. It was harder than moderate IMO.
