This loop passes through the following routes: Tucker Cutoff, Tucker Trail, Eldridge Grade Fire Road, Lakeview Fire Road, Rock Springs Lagunitas Road, Shady Side Trail, Kent Fire Road, Kent Trail, Helen Markt Trail, Cataract Trail, Mickey O'Brien Trail, Simmons Fire Road, Laurel Dell Fire Road, Northside Trail, International Trail, Lakeview Trail, Verna Dunshee Trail and Indian Fire Road.

The Mt Tam watershed that this route passes is amazing and the views from many of the trails near the East Peak are worth the whole trek. It’s definitely more of a hiking route than a trail running route, as there are some very steep and scraggly sections that require you to slow down and pick each step more carefully. Would be nice to have some trekking poles. Overall, an awesome place that has a ton of variety for linking different trails together.

Great trail. I decided to hike this in the opposite direction so that I could attack the steep part up-hill, which I feel is safer. If you want to avoid the steepest parts you can choose switchbacks instead, but then you’ll add a couple of miles.

Great hike, be careful on the decent it’s steep and hard terrain. Bring trekking poles you will need them. Definitely took longer then I thought.
