First trail with all the kiddos big and small and with the pup. Everyone enjoyed the scenery and picnic lunch at the end overlooking the lake.

Hiked this trail a while ago. It is easy. The wild flowers, be careful of the poison ivy. Lots of shade, good on a hot day.

Need to get the family and the dogs out for a stretch, this is the spot. Short uphill from the parking lot and you are on the loop. Shady all the way around. At the end everybody can say they went hiking and as we all know a good dog is a tired dog.

Really more of a walk than a hike this serene lake is a pleasure any time of year. A great place to take kids or grandma.
