Connecting several trails to cover the central third of the park with not a hint of the city just over the hill. Overview: This walk takes you through the central third of Annadel SP and through some of the best of what the park has to offer. Some of the trails can get quite a bit of hiking, trail running, and bike traffic, .but for the bulk of this trip it never really seemed crowded. Lake Ilsanjo offers fishing and some of the most beautiful and bountiful displays of wildflowers from early March to late May, which are best seen when hiking around the lake.. The park offers many miles of trails for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and trail riding. It is essentially a valley and hill island, surrounded by the city and wine country agriculture.

many different little ecosystems. Oak Woodland down-low, Lake and Meadowland, conifer Forest up higher. goes through the burn area. Bong moderate climbs in a few steep ones. I did the route in reverse, and I think I would prefer it that way. although there is more downhill then uphill in reverse

So beautiful- the walk along spring creek with the large moss-covered trees is not to be missed!

There’s a nice series of trails, some challenging. It’s picturesque though also crowded with many people on the trails which are narrow and often shared by mountain bikes whizzing by which definitely disrupts what could be a calm scenic vibe.

I prefer this route in reverse. One of the best routes (trail running) at Annadel SP. Marsh is challenging but very run-able and flying down South Burma is a real treat, with very different plant life at a higher elevation. The trail in the South Burma section is some of the most pristine single track in the park. Start at John Beckmeyer Trail on Parktrail Dr. for easy access.

Nice trail, relatively easy, but will give you a nice workout if you're moving along. Great for an afternoon meander, usually pretty nice weather

Nice trail with a relatively easygoing and steady climb. Has a pleasant meadow/valley view near the top and a nice little view of Santa Rosa near the lake if you stray off the route a bit like I did.
