Lots of noise from Del Dios Rd. Otherwise, pretty empty and quiet for a Monday afternoon... 1 small trail closer to Lake, parallel road appears to be a fire road. Did not go all the way.
Lovely views of lake , popular bikers trail if >70 use pole ,boat launch at end of trail
Lots of mountain bikes on a compact trail. Mostly flat. Families and small groups.
This trail for me was pretty uneventful and disappointing. I thought I would be closer to the lake itself but it was a walk along the road and I could overlook the lake
Good trail. Not as many bikes today as expected. Don’t be afraid of them! They’re usually very nice and will let you know when they’re coming.
It was really nice. A nice mix of some technical terrain and some fun down hill
Nice trial, did come across lot of bikers after 7 on our wayback... so be alert ... lake view right from start, then a dam and you get to see the san dequito river, and a bridge. we started at 6am and the trail was ours....
great trail bunch of poison oak though along the trail in a few spots, great place to familiarize yourself with the plant because one can see it growing as a ground cover, giant bush, and as vine along with the shades of red and green based on how much sun hits it. One can also learn what poison oak looks like when it grows over the trail and a bunch of people have brushed past it. I run all the time here and have seen one person brush right up on it and even though he said he knows what poison oak looks like he had no idea he did. in fact I've seen a few people who said they know what it looks like have some close encounters with it so just be alert. Also poison oak can grow in a multitude of ways so.... leaves of three let them be. and red is dead
