Awesome paved bike trail where my wife and I did bike riding here first time and loved it will come again , bike trail near lake shore in some places and you go for a swim or do a picnic too or just enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake , there’s RV motor home camping here Full hook-ups (sorry no cable) in some places just plan tent camping. I recommend to bring xtra bike parts(tubes) and the right tools if you need to do adjustments on your mountain bike . P.S. you may not want to leave , have fun !!!

Tree debris everywhere but no one else on the trail. A real nice walk with great views and fresh air.

Nice scenery. 100% paved. If this is “moderate,” easy must be a nap. This is like a city park walk. Lots of places where you can leave the 10’ paved trail and walk to the lake shore.

Lovely paved nature walk along the lake. Well shaded and lake front aplenty. Our dogs loved it.

This is a nice trail! Although it is longer than the 4.9 miles that is said above.

This trail can go to crescent mills if you want to extend your run. I went 3 miles there and 3 back. It was an easy paved road with some rolling hills and great views.

A very easy, relaxing trail that takes you along the west shore of Lake Almanor. We only walked on a short section of the trail, close to the Dyer Beach day access area. There's a nice parking lot there restroom. A big bonus was the public shoreline to hang out at and go swimming. It was a Saturday afternoon on a hot day, and there were only a few groups in the area.

It is a beautiful, peaceful trail. From start to finish though I think it is a little more than 11 miles one way.

it is within a gated community, so if you are not staying or visiting someone there, don't bother going. also the woman at the guard shack mentioned mountain lions.

An absolute gem for families, casual bikers and even wheelchairs. This is a user-maintained, paved trail through the forest along the west shore of Lake Almanor. A few climbs and descents but nothing severe. The surface may be littered with winter debris before volunteers clear the 10 mile trail in the late spring, usually before Memorial Day. Thereafter it's smooth sailing until the snow flies, at which point the route becomes a cross-country ski trail. Limited parking available at the following locations (WGS84): - North trailhead ... N 40 13.67', W 121 12.45' - Almanor Campground (boat ramp parking) ... N 40 13.29', W 121 10.71' - Dyer View ... N 40 12.17', W 121 08.18' - Rocky Point Campground area ... N 40 11.70', W 121 07.03' - South trailhead (boat ramp & picnic grounds) ... N 40 10.75', W 121 05.71'
