An expansive wetlands complex that extends from the Russian River to the south end of the Santa Rosa Plain, near Cotati. The Laguna Trail, as it is commonly known, explores the fields and ponds of a small part of this area. A floating bridge crosses the main channel of the laguna and accesses a scenic spur trail. The trail also passes close by a lovely vineyard and has views of the Mayacamas Mountains to the north and east.

Very easy WALK! Not a hiking trail. Started on the north end going south. Large loop on the south end is closed to dogs, so we skipped it. Lots of deep puddles on the paved path after a good rain. Great place for a nice quick walk of time is an issue!

This was a good trail to get my dog antiquated with other dogs and people. We have done this trail a half dozen times and have had some friendly conversations with the locals.

Not a challenging hike, but a truly beautiful walk. Also connects to downtown Sebastopol which is convenient. Easy and free parking from either side of the loop.
