Over all very easy. FYI you will pay for parking. My wife & I enjoyed it. Picturesque! Lots of people & dogs but was very pleasant. Canoes for rent & saw kids fishing. Worth the drive & time.

If youre looking for a good hike, you may want to go up into the hills around the reservoir. The loop on the resevoir is more of a simple walk thats good for kids, with friends or with dogs. Pick up their poop though haha. Not to bash it by any means. This is a great spot to go! Pretty, little ups and downs on the paved path. Its just not really a “hike”. Its really a great spot to go jogging though. No hiking boots needed. Maybe a bottle of water. But this is pretty mich as easy as it gets. But again, a great spot to go for some fresh air!! Usually heavily trafficked though also.

Aside from getting a great burst of cardio on this beautiful loop, I LOVE the deer, squirrel and dog watching.

Nice easy walk with a few hills. Paved. Very crowded. Interestingly, the majority of people were walking counter clockwise. Lots of people with dogs but all were on leash. Great for a brisk walk or stroll. Parking is $1.50 per hour for 2 hr max or $7 for all day.

Discovered this beautiful place today. There were a lot of people there, but it’s good because it makes me feel safe.

Pros: well maintained, paved, shady, scenic moments. Ample parking, dog friendly. Cons: very crowded on the weekend. If you’re looking for solitude in nature, this isn’t the place. Paid parking.

It’s so nice to walk this in the mornings. I ran/walked it this time. I think next time when I run it, I’ll go the opposite way. (This time I went towards the recreational area first)

I do this loop all the time. It’s best in the morning. Perfect for a relaxed walk with kids and pets. You’ll never see a snake on the path.

beautiful but pricey

Really love this walk. Done both paved, and dirt portions of this trail. Recently took the pup with me, but sadly there wasn't enough shade for her (ended up carrying her a portion of the way). Other than that it has beautiful views, and a nice breeze!

We do this trail wherever we feel like doing a short, easy hike in good weather. Paved trail, with lots of restrooms along the way. Nice views of the lake and trees all along the route. You do have to pay for parking.

What a beautiful park with a gorgeous view. It was a lovely array of people and scenery. Today was warm and there was a fair exchange of sunshine and shade. The hills are great for beginners like myself. We're certainly going again.

Such a fun place to hike, take a leisurely stroll, rent a glittery paddle boat or row boat and have an awesome day in a beautiful tree lined reservoir.

Fully paved, patches of sun and shade. I was surprised that you couldn’t see too much of the water except in certain spots; it’s mostly thick brush/flora. Fair bit of up and down but nothing too steep. I saw parents pushing strollers (some struggling more than others), and a person pushing someone in a wheelchair. Well trafficked and lots of dogs. A day pass to the reserve is $7, so bring a credit card (visa/MasterCard).

Wonderful even in the hale. It was a great and achievable walk with dogs and a stroller.

Love the lake. Not too long not too short. Next will try the harder trail.

AllTrails closed out of the app and paused my hike at a couple points on my way back, but half way was 1.1mi and about 30m.

Pretty smooth and easy trail with nice views. Very crowded though. Lots of local moms with strollers. Plan a picnic at one of the areas at the start or finish. If you’re up for more of a challenge, take one of the trails up to the dirt rim trail and do some of it all of that too.

Took my pup on this trail. Word of caution, if your pup gets easily distracted by smells and other pups be ready to have a lot of patience or a backpack. My pup loves smelling all the smells, I was on a little bit of a time crunch and had to toss her in her K9 pack for most of the walk. It was absolutely beautiful and lots of good pup spotting. Fully paved route, could easily add some tougher miles with the outskirting trails. If you do not have an annual pass, there is a parking fee.
