Be advised that there is a bike restriction not mentioned in this AllTrails guide. Bikes are only allowed certain hours on certain days apparently up to the whims of the establishment. Not worth making a 1 hour trip hoping for a nice bike ride around the lake. Go to Coyote Hills or Tilden.

Quick hour loop around the reservoir. Nice place to go on a brainless walk.

It's a great little oasis in Lafayette. I grew up in the area and always love taking my dogs for walks there (just be aware of other dogs, some owners can be pretty careless). There are plenty of water faucets and bathrooms around the entire trail. Just be aware parking might be difficult at peak times, mid morning and late afternoon.

Upper trail is great with options to go to the lower in many places. Lots of people...

The paved loop is nice; perfect for walking the dog. And everyone had their dogs on leash. There are lots of water fountains and restrooms on the loop.

Bikes and rollerblades are allowed on the paved loop on Tuesdays and Thursdays and before 11 a.m. on Sundays.

There is hourly parking at $1.50/hr for a maximum of 2 hrs or all day parking for $7. I paid for 2 hours to do the rim trail then another hour for the paved loop. There was an officer going around handing out parking tickets, so make sure you pay.

Great place to run if you're just starting out. Loop is straightforward and really no way to get lost. The loop is about 2.7 miles. Only downside here is that you have to pay for parking.

Easy and under 3 miles, some small hills, lots of shade, loved the lake views!

Great for what it's, paved 5k training loop with some moderate hills and plenty of restrooms along the way. I did it back to back both clockwise and counterclockwise and it's pretty similar, you'll just get a big hill at the end going counterclockwise. Also, if you're training for an OCR race there's a jungle gym with a rock climbing Z wall.
